500 Years of Utopia, Thomas More
In collaboration with: AVBS
Thomas More's book Utopia was first printed in Leuven in 1516. To celebrate the 500th jubileum, the city of Leuven organized a 4 months culture festival to honour the writer, his work and his philosophy. This book marked a breaking point at the Europe of his time, stimulating people to think in a more critical and analytical way.
Between de plenty of cultural activities that took place during the 4 months festival, we participated at the building of a monumental flower carpet, where we used begonia's, treebark and grass.
