In collaboration with: Flower Carpet
September is a very special month for us since 2016, when we were invited to the first International gathering of ephemeral art. And on 2017 we were asked to participate on the 2nd International gathering in Uriangato, Gto. Mexico, organized by the Coordinadora Internacional de Arte Efimero and the city of Uriangato. After the great experience we had the year before, we were thrilled to recive the invitation, which we shared with delegations of Spain, Italy, Guatemala, Brazil, Japan and other delegations of Mexico like Huamantla and Patamban.
This time we built a flower Carpet that depicted the Archangel Saint Michael of the city of Brussels integrated in an Art nouveau stained glass. We used fresh full flowers, coloured saw dust and tree bark, mixing our own technique and the mexican one, integrating the one in the other, embracing them.
